Welcome to The Bethany Web Design Project
The Bethany Project is a student run collective that supports and promotes
local communities and services, through web-design and web-development.
The
students are all working voluntarily, and the work is done within the
framework
of their training syllabus. The essence of the scheme is to provide
a work-based
environment, for the student to practice and develop their skills
whilst at the
same time providing a real service to the community.
The majority of project work is aimed at charities and other none-profit making organisations; but from time-to-time, clients are taken from those falling within the criteria of the Princes Trust’, 18 – 30 Starter Business Programme, and/or those unemployed and referred through the Job Centre Plus programme.
The individual projects are undertaken and conducted to the highest levels of proficiency, and all the work is supervised and monitored carefully by a Senior Lecturer/Project Coordinator. The production methods and techniques, are standard to the Web-Design Industry, and conform to W3 practices.
The Students are conscious that their finished product will demonstrate initiative, independence, originality and academic achievement. If you think we can help you; contact us, we are always looking for new projects.
